Modification to add category and section support 1 Year, 1 Month ago

Hi,
I have modified the plugin to accomodate category and section change support. If selected, the expired articles will be republished under a different category and section. (The archive category). Please incorporate this in the next version.

Nice feature to add. Appreciate the code and will include in the near future with appropriate credit as well.
Note to others who might download this modified AutoArchive2:
The feature added by Sajid will move your unpublished articles to the section/category you have selected and then republish your article. A number of enhancements are being planned for AutoArchive2 for the future but until released, this feature provided by Sajid is not supported.

Hi
I know you don't have support on this tread, but i have used it and find it very god, but when I have a artickle publised on frontpage and with Atooarchive2 move it to my archieve category, it stiil remains on the front page. Can you make a point in the the plugin to also remove from frontpage? It moves it correct to my archieve.
Thanks for a god Plugin.

(Sory for my english, hope you understand)

Thanks Birger for pointing that out.
The site, where I used the plugin did not have any front page articles. I used it to remove the articles from "News" category to "News Archive" category.
But the plugin, when republishing, should have an option to remove it from front page too. (Otherwise, the front page would look clumsy)
I'll try to edit it, and republish here in a week.
Edit: Since the feature is supported in the official release now, I don't think it is necessary to publish it here. I think huelsmann will surely add this fix in the next release

I do plan on adding the option to remove the frontpage flag in the next release. Because the flag is located in another table, it requires a separate sql statement from the one being built for the rest of the functionality and I didn't have the time to work it out. Look for it in the next release.
