AutoArchive 2.0.3 Released

Announcing

AutoArchive2.0.3 for Joomla 1.5.x was released today and is available in the downloads section of Huelsmann Homebase and does not require registration to obtain. This version of the original AutoArchive released by TeachmeJoomla as GPL for Joomla 1.0.x series has been completely reworked to function on 1.5.x native. It too has obviously been released as GPL. Discuss positives and negatives in the support forum which does require registration to post.

This version corrects an incompatibility when run on PHP 5.3.
This version adds a language file to facilitate translation efforts. If you do translate please upload the translation file in the forum and it will be made available in future releases as well as on this site.

Note: There is no need to redownload this version unless you are running on PHP 5.3 or need translation capabilities.

If you do plan on replacing an existing install of AutoArchive2, you will not need to uninstall your previous version as this version uses the "upgrade" method.

This version adds the ability reset the frontpage flag when moving an article to the archive.
This version also corrects a bug introduced in 2.0.1 with the uncategorized articles preventing the category and/or the section filter from working correctly.
Note: If you downloaded this version between 10 am and 8:30 pm on 10/27/2009, please re-download. A minor error was identified that has been corrected.

AutoArchive1.02 for Joomla 1.0.x Series

AutoArchive 1.02 for the Joomla! 1.0.x series has been made available for those that are still maintaining a 1.0.x website. I would highly recommend updating to the 1.5.x series now as the Joomla 1.0.x series is no longer supported which means that any identified security risks will not be fixed! You will find this old mambot in the downloads area under the 1.0.x extensions directory. Registration is not required to download.

AutoArchive2.0.1 for Joomla 1.5.x was released today and is available in the downloads section of Huelsmann Homebase and does not require registration to obtain. This version of the original AutoArchive released by TeachmeJoomla as GPL for Joomla 1.0.x series has been completely reworked to function on 1.5.x native. It too has obviously been released as GPL. This version adds the ability republish previously unpublished or expired articles and either set a user controlled next unpublished date X days in the future or set no unpublished date. This feature is tied to moving the article to a new section/category.

Also available in this version is the ability move an article to the archive and at the same time move it to a new section/category.

Optional features let you determine if the plugin will work on unpublished articles and/or on uncategorized articles.
