Description:

This content plugin takes automatic actions when Joomla! content items reach their expiration date. It can archive, trash or purge your expired items, and can be configured to send email to anyone desired when actions are taken. Useful with newspaper-like websites(to auto-generate news archive), or in conjunction with automated content item generators, such as feedgator. This plugin was originally released by TeachmeJoomla as a mambot for the 1.0.x Joomla series. It has been reconfigured here to work only with Joomla 1.5.x versions.

New in version 2.01:

This version adds the ability republish previously unpublished or expired articles and either set a user controlled next unpublished date X days in the future or set no unpublished date. This feature is tied to moving the article to a new section/category.

Also available in this version is the ability move an article to the archive and at the same time move it to a new section/category.

Optional features let you determine if the plugin will work on unpublished articles and/or on uncategorized articles.
